Fujikoshi was founded in Toyama City in 1928 (the third year of Showa) in order to realize the localization of machine tools that were then almost entirely dependent on imports. Mr. Araki Imura, the founder, believed that "only self-reliance in the field of mechanical tools is the basis for the development of our industry". Driven by this strong sense of mission, he embodied his ambition as the entrepreneurial spirit of "Fujikoshi". As the Buddhist sutra says, "good and evil are not divided, evil is just the same" or "enlightenment is not divided". Things that appear to be different, things that appear to be diametrically opposite, if we stand on a higher position to deeply explore their nature, we will find that they are originally the same thing. "Yue" is the ancient name of the northern land area of Japan, representing the meaning of "high ambition".
Origin of the trademark "NACHI"
The NACHI brand originated from Nakashi Daisha in Kumano, the ancestor of Japan/Yamato, which embodies the high enthusiasm for business. In 1929 (the fourth year of Showa), Emperor Showa visited Kansai to inspect the domestic incentive industry and inspected the Fujikoshi saw blade (metal cutting saw blade), which is regarded as an excellent national product, at Osaka City Hall. The founder, Mr. Araki Imura, was so grateful for this great honor that he designed the NACHI logo and adopted it as his trademark.
